Does Your Wetland Flood and Dry?
Water Regime and Wetland Plants is a practical booklet that helps you understand how the pattern of wet and dry periods (the water regime) shapes wetland plant communities. It guides you to ask and answer questions about flooding and drying, measure water levels above and below ground, compare vegetation at different times, and see how water patterns influence which plants and habitats develop. It also supports you to think about whether restoring a more natural wet–dry cycle in a wetland is desirable or feasible for healthier wetland vegetation.
