Ebor
The Department has issued the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) for the Ebor Battery Energy Storage System.
You can view the SEARs on the Major Projects Website.
The proponent will now prepare its Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) having regard to the SEARs.

We’re pleased to share that the Third Edition of the much-loved Pasture Plants of the Slopes and Tablelands of NSW, by Lewis Kahn, Belinda Heard and Wal Whalley, is in the final stages of editing and will soon be heading to print.
Southern New England Landcare has been proud to support the authors in sourcing funding and preparing this updated edition.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2024 survey – your input helped shape the direction of this new release.
Please note, this edition will be available in hard copy only at this stage.
With SNEL funding the printing of this resource, we’ll be placing small batch print runs. To ensure you don’t miss out, we encourage you to submit a pre-order to secure your copy.

Resource Spotlight:
Bird Friendly Farms - to assist landholders with the process of creating a bird-friendly property, BirdLife Australia, in collaboration with Northern Tablelands Local Land Services, has developed the Bird-Friendly Farms guide.
This guide provides information on what birds occur in rural landscapes and why private land is important for their conservation, the characteristics of bird-friendly habitat, and how you can manage the threats to the birds on your property.

The Sustainable Chiswick Project is making this livestock research farm a real-world testbed for agricultural sustainability. This project covers all aspects of sustainability, including environmental, social, and economic.
