    Ecological Whole Farm Planning for SNE Graziers

    Southern New England Landcare has been successful in attracting funding from the National Landcare Program Small Community Grants, to facilitate 4 days of ecological whole farm planning wiith an innovation focus, by Soil Land Food's David Hardwick. 

    The program integrates whole farm planning with a range of innovations including planned grazing, agroforestry, BEHAVE (animal behaviour and diet diversity concepts), innovative farm planning, diversity cropping (multispecies cover cropping, pasture cropping, no-kill farming), biofertilisers, innovative erosion techniques and more.

    The program introduces participants to a wide range of innovations and will be delivered by Bruce Maynard and David Hardwick with some assistance on Day 4 from Kristy Youman. Project activites will include indoor and outdoor sessions on local properties and attract a broad range of pariticpants from around the Southern New England.

    Dates are currently being confirmed but the course will likely run as 2 days in April and 2 days in May 2018. More information will be available early in 2018 regarding bookings.
