This is your chance to be a part of UNE’s new resilient pastures learning program aimed at improving farmers’ capability to manage productive and drought-resilient pastures.
The program will be run across two years during which five groups of farmers in the southern New England will be coached to assess pastures and feed budgets.
The free online software tool Ag360 will be used to capture pasture data over the course of the project, and its climate projection function will be used to guide production decisions.
Each group will meet six times a year with the pasture coach, to assess their pastures and share their experiences, enabling the whole group to learn from each other.
If you or someone you know would like to get involved, please download the Project Prospectus or contact Aggie Seiler.
