The upcoming Exclusion Fencing workshop, conducted by the Northern Tablelands Local Land Services, will cover all things fencing with representatives from Waratah, Gallagher Fencing and Southern Wire, along with Dave Worsley, NE NSW Wild Dog Control Coordinator, Centre for Invasive Species Solutions, who oversaw and managed the project.
The Moona-Winterbourne exclusion fence project creates a barrier over a total of 113km. Exclusion fencing is becoming a well utilised tool throughout Australia in control of wild dogs, introduced pests such as goats, deer and pigs and to assist in management of total grazing pressure.
