Kentucky Creek Dam Catchment Focus Group: ZNET Uralla

ZNETlogoCalling all landholders in the Kentucky Creek Dam catchment! Let's Talk About Water.

Event date: Saturday, 15th May 2021

Are you a landholder in the Kentucky Creek Dam catchment? ZNET, in partnership with Uralla Council and UNSW Global Water Institute, is facilitating conversations across the community to get a detailed picture of the impact of the recent water shortage and to explore community options for water security. Everyone brings a unique perspective to the discussion and we want to hear.

Would you be interested in attending a Focus Group facilitated by Professor Matthew Kearnes (UNSW) and Professor Stuart Khan (The Global Water Institute)?

We will be holding the Focus Group on the afternoon of Saturday 15th May at 'Wilhelmshohe'. This research and consultation project will map community values and responses, from farmers and rural landholders, to business owners and town dwellers. The ZNET Catchment Focus Group will take this knowledge forward into local and state government planning and decision making on water management.

And map of the catchment is available here for reference.  Drawn drawn by a UNSW PhD student, the pink border defines the catchment, and the blue borders represents the Lot data, which will assist in working out where properties lie in relation to the catchment.

If you are interested in being involved, please contact Imogen: events@zneturalla.org.au or 0413 565 253. Link to ZNet media release.
