Home-spun resilience coming to Walcha

sam longmoreSouthern New England Landcare is pleased to announce the Knitting with Resilience workshop in Walcha on August 10th, where attendees will have the opportunity to craft their own Merino wool throw.

Delivered by the inspiring Sam Longmore from Ohh Bulldust, this workshop focuses on resilience, community, and creating supportive networks.

GLENRAC hosts men's night out - supporting our mates.

Mens Night Out

In 2022 alone, tragically 2,455 Australian men took their own lives, so when a local Glen Innes family suffered the loss of their beloved son Kayne Wells earlier this year, they approached GLENRAC, requesting that in lieu of flowers for his funeral a memorial fund be established to contribute towards an event to support rural men in challenges they bear, often silently, regarding mental health.
