Southern New England Landcare has partnered with Highway to Well to offer free mental health first aid course in Uralla, Walcha and Guyra
“Mental health challenges are particularly prevalent in rural areas due to geographic isolation, limited access to services, and social stigmas surrounding mental illness,” said SNEL CEO Karen Zirkler. “Drought, flood, fire, and other disasters can impact mental health, making support and education crucial,” she said. Nurturing our Native Ecosystems in Urban Areas![]() Visitors are welcome.
We will gather at 2.00 pm at ASCA house, corner of Barney and Markham Streets, Armidale. There we will have an illustrated talk followed by questions and discussions. Our speaker will be Dr Mari Koch, and the topic is: Nurturing our Native Ecosystems in Urban Areas “Caring for our local flora and fauna is vital to maintaining earth’s health – and therefore ours. Sustainable Farms Dams SurveyWe are seeking input from farmers with grazing enterprises across NSW and VIC. The survey asks about livestock water priorities and challenges and whether the enhancement of farm dams can deliver outcomes of value to graziers.
