Picnic for Nature and 4 Wonderful Walks - Sunday 16th October 2022Across the state local communities are hosting picnics - coming together to celebrate nature; a fun day of getting outside with your family; an opportunity to celebrate the natural beauty and biodiversity of our local area and a chance to connect with our local community. Nature Conservation Council of NSW Whether your passion is koalas, frogs, wildflowers, skinks, Regent Honeyeaters or you simply love escaping into the bush- there will be something for everyone. Picnic for Nature 12 noon - 2pm Armidale Arboretum (below 225 Galloway St) 4 Wonderful Walks 10:00-9.30am Mike O’Keefe Woodland 10:00am Explore Creeklands revegetation with Armidale Urban Rivercare Group 2:30pm Drummond Park bushland and Snow Gums Bushland Reserve 5:00 pm Walk along a 2km wildlife corridor with Citizen’s Wildlife Corridors (CWC) bushcare volunteers. Meet on corner of Trelawney Rd and Rockvale Rd (3km from Ben Venue School).
