This is your chance to be a part of UNE’s new resilient pastures learning program aimed at improving farmers’ capability to manage productive and drought-resilient pastures. The program will be run across two years during which five groups of farmers will be coached to assess pastures and feed budgets.
Groups will be trained in Ag360, a free online software tool that can record farm details and predict farm parameters such as soil moisture, pasture growth and forecasted animal weight.
Each group will meet 6 times a year to assess their pastures and share their successes and failures, enabling the whole group to learn from each other’s experiences. Download the Project Prospectus HERE or call Aggie Sieler from SNELandcare on 02 6772 9123 or email aggie.seiler@snelandcare.org.au.
