With feral pigs on the rise following recent rain across our region, landholders are facing some new threats. Biosecurity and exotic diseases have the potential to proliferate in these conditions.

Did you know, feral pigs predate on newborn lambs, damage fences and water sources and compete with livestock for feed? They also carry diseases that can be transferred to humans and working dogs, e.g. Brucellosis.
