Local Landcare member was telling us about his orchids at a recent meeting and agreed to share their beauty with us all in these lovely photos he sent in.

"As promised, pics of my cymbidium and native dendrobium..." said Peter.

"My orchids are a bit of an indulgence but they do give me much pleasure. It is not just from their flowers but also the healthy growth of new shoots after the flowers are spent.

"I especially take pleasure from some orchids I have rescued after they have fallen from their host tree. It is rewarding to have them thriving in captivity, knowing they were doomed to die in the bush," he said.
